Social impact research examining seven years of implementation of the Women in Innovation Programme and its results for women entrepreneurs.
- Economic and social research
- Social impact analysis
The need
The starting point of this research was that the real impact on women entrepreneurs of the Women in Innovation Programme, implemented over seven years, had not been measured systematically. The lack of concrete data on the long-term results of a multi-component programme comprising training, acceleration camps, mentoring and financial support made it difficult for KADEM to back its decisions on developing and sustaining the programme with strong evidence. In response to this need, Force & Brothers conducted social impact research assessing the programme’s seven years of implementation and its results for participating entrepreneurs.
Force & Brothers’ approach
Over a four-month process, Force & Brothers carried out economic and social research together with social impact analysis. Our team examined the training, acceleration camps, mentoring and financial support components and the development of the ventures after the programme, and presented the findings in an evaluation report together with the programme’s strengths, areas for improvement and recommendations for future rounds.
Outcome
As a result of the research, the seven-year impact of the Women in Innovation Programme was demonstrated with concrete data, and KADEM was provided with evidence-based recommendations to strengthen the programme’s future design. This has enabled the programme to place its work supporting women’s entrepreneurship, with a focus on Türkiye and the Turkic states, on a stronger footing.
