Force & Brothers' role
  • Project development services
  • Project management
  • Business development and mentoring for women entrepreneurs
01

The need

The starting point for Women in Innovation was the absence of a comprehensive support programme in Istanbul through which women entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas could turn those ideas into investment-ready ventures. Because training, mentoring, business development and access to investors were generally offered in isolation from one another, women entrepreneurs had to work through these processes on their own and in a fragmented way. In response to this need, KADEM and ISTKA launched Women in Innovation as an integrated acceleration programme extending from a training camp to investor meetings.

02

Force & Brothers’ approach

Force & Brothers was responsible for the project management of the programme and provided business development and mentoring support to the entrepreneurs. Our team supported the project implementation team end to end in planning and delivering the training camp, the Open Office, one-to-one mentoring sessions and investor pitches.

03

Outcome

Over seven camp terms, 2,350 prospective entrepreneurs applied to the project, 204 entrepreneurs took part in the training process, 36 ventures reached the final and 6 entrepreneurs secured investment. In this way, Women in Innovation became a programme that turned women’s entrepreneurship into a concrete journey from the idea stage to investment and made a lasting contribution to Türkiye’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. As a result of the work carried out in cooperation with KADEM, the Women in Innovation programme moved beyond its multi-year, recurring camp format and was transformed into a more comprehensive project for innovative women entrepreneurs. This offered the ecosystem a structured programme in which our entrepreneurs in the field of innovative women’s entrepreneurship can receive support at many stages, from the initial idea to securing funding.
