An analysis, training and network development programme addressing KalDer’s capacity for project development, implementation and international cooperation.
- Project management
- Corporate capacity building
- International cooperation
The need
This programme was developed because there was no capacity analysis that systematically assessed team competencies and international cooperation opportunities in the project development and implementation processes of the Turkish Quality Association (KalDer). The lack of concrete tools and recommendations to support the organisation’s strategic priorities made it difficult for KalDer to strengthen its preparation of new projects and its international networking efforts. In response to this need, Force & Brothers carried out an analysis, training and network development programme assessing KalDer’s project development and implementation capacity.
Force & Brothers’ approach
Force & Brothers supported the identification of KalDer’s strategic priorities and, together with the organisation, reviewed its project management processes, team competencies and options for international cooperation. Our team organised training for project teams, carried out international networking activities and turned the results into recommendations and tools that KalDer can use in preparing new projects.
Outcome
By the end of the programme, KalDer’s project development and implementation capacity had been assessed in concrete terms, and the organisation had tools and recommendations it can use in preparing new projects. As a result, KalDer gained a stronger corporate infrastructure that reinforces its project teams’ competence and its potential for international cooperation. During implementation, projects and partnerships for KalDer that could draw on national and international funding sources were also developed.
