Istanbul Chamber of Commerce – EU Programmes and Project Development Training Programme
A training series that strengthened ITO staff’s capacity to develop projects for the Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Digital Europe and COSME programmes.
- Training design and delivery
- EU programmes and project development capacity support
The need
Istanbul Chamber of Commerce staff needed hands-on training to analyse European Union funds (Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, COSME) effectively and turn them into project ideas aligned with the Chamber’s priorities. Because technical skills such as project cycle management, budgeting, partnership building and reading call documents had not been developed systematically, it was difficult for staff to make effective use of EU funds. In response to this need, ITO organised a four-module EU project development training programme with Force & Brothers.
Force & Brothers’ approach
Force & Brothers took on the entire process, from the design of the training to its delivery. Through hands-on exercises across four modules, our team covered topics such as the logical framework, objective setting, budgeting, partnership building, application form analysis and reading call documents.
Outcome
The pre-test and post-test results applied at the end of the training showed a marked improvement in participants’ skills in analysing calls and turning project ideas into applications. As a result, ITO staff gained a concrete competence to develop EU projects aligned with the Chamber’s priorities.
